About Us

Wendy Pierce, MA, LPC-S, NCC

Since 2011 Wendy has worked in private practice to help people overcome the impact of traumas, disorders, and challenges. She has worked extensively with trauma, depression, anxiety, and the full spectrum of eating disorders. Her approach to counseling is at the foundation a Christian framework and she utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) into her work.  She incorporates motivation, insight, and values at the core of every counseling plan with the desire to cultivate a sense of ownership and confidence within her clients as they move toward their values and goals.  

Wendy has a Bachelors degree in Communication from the College of Charleston and graduated with distinction with a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and approved Supervisor in the state of Texas as well as a National Certified Counselor.

Sarah Disibio, MA, LPC-A, NCC

Supervised by Wendy Pierce.  

Sarah is a therapist with over 5 years of experience working with individuals with eating disorders and other mental health concerns, across multiple levels of care. She additionally has experience and training in helping those struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem concerns, body image, and the effects of trauma. Sarah’s approach to counseling is compassion-driven and individualized, rooted in cognitive-behavioral techniques and grounded in a trauma-informed perspective.   Sarah’s works to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel understood and empowered to explore and achieve meaningful growth and change. Sarah has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor and has training in crisis management.

Tere Rivera, MS, RDN, CEDS-S, FAED

Tere is a Certified Eating Disorder Dietitian and Approved Supervisor through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). She graduated from The University of The Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas with a M.S. in Nutrition and has worked in the eating disorder field in all levels of care for more than 20 years supporting children, adolescents, adults, and their families.

She has been honored with the distinction of Fellow of the Academy for Eating Disorders (FAED) for her collaboration on the prevention, treatment and research of eating disorders and has presented in global conferences on topics related to nutrition and eating disorders throughout Europe, North and South America.

As a Master level Registered Dietitian with extensive experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy and Eating Disorders, Tere specializes in helping children older than 8, adolescents and adults who struggle with disordered eating, eating disorders or with medical conditions that require changes in their lifestyle to improve their nutritional status. As a bilingual clinician she works with patients in English or Spanish.

Tere believes that through the combination of evidence-based treatment and compassionate dietary guidance, you can meet your nutrition goals, rediscover joy in eating and gain piece with food and body.

Liz Marshall, RDN, LD, CEDS

Liz is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) with a passion for helping individuals heal their relationship with food and body. She has experience working with adolescents and adults in outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential levels of care, supporting those struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, ARFID, and disordered eating patterns.

Liz utilizes a compassionate, evidence-based, and weight-inclusive approach to nutrition therapy. Her work is grounded in the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® (HAES®), and she encourages clients to reconnect with their body’s wisdom, find joy in eating, and discover sustainable ways to nourish themselves.

Liz earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Nebraska and completed her dietetic internship at Abilene Christian University. She is licensed in the state of Texas and holds the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP).

Liz is an active member of the Dallas–Fort Worth eating disorder community and professional organizations including the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD), and the DFW Chapter of IAEDP.  

Liz is the founder/owner of Sage Nutrition Counseling, and TNC is honored to have her working with us to support patients and their families.

Jean Sullivan, RDN, LD

  

Jean has had the privilege of supporting individuals in hospitalized care and in private practice. She has served on staff and in management roles at several hospital facilities in the specialties of Pediatrics, Neonatal Intensive Care, Women's Health, Orthopedic & Cardiac Rehabilitation, and all levels of Eating disorder Treatment.

Jean provides care with an Integrative & Functional approach to Nutrition Therapy. She is passionate about exploring a holistic path leading to full recovery of eating disorders, digestive, metabolic, and inflammatory disorders. Her private practice, spanning nearly three decades, weaves together comprehensive clinical protocols with somatic experiences for healing such as Reiki, connections in nature, and life skills for resilience. She holds the highest regard for provider collaboration.

Jean is the founder/owner of Vital Food Therapy and TNC is honored to have her affiliated with us as a virtual resource to help  our clients/families navigate a safe path to full recovery.
